Affiliates - Monetize your site

Affiliate marketing is an advertising method where an advertiser (or merchant) rewards an affiliate for each click, lead, or sale generated by the users who were redirected to the advertiser's website through the affiliate's marketing efforts.

Socios is a high-value intermediate in this process, providing the technological and administrative infrastructure as well as managing the relationship between advertisers and affiliates.

Any person or business who owns a site, blog, social network account, or database, shares content online, and wishes to make money from their traffic can become an affiliate.

Having large amounts of traffic is important. However smaller niche affiliates who are very relevant to the product or service a merchant is offering are also highly valued.

An affiliate program is the agreement between the merchant and the affiliate. The merchant makes promotional tools available, sets out the objectives of the campaign, and how much they will pay the affiliate for reaching these objectives.

Soicos works with advertisers of all types with different needs, but the most common ones are click, lead, and sale.

A program's payment method sets out the advertiser's objectives and how much commission they will pay every time an affiliate reaches this objective (click, lead, or sale). These are the payment models most commonly used by advertisers:

CPC: Cost per click. The merchant pays commission to the affiliate every time a user on their site clicks on an ad and is redirected to the merchant's site.

CPL: Cost per lead. The merchant pays commission to the affiliate every time a user on their site clicks on an ad and is redirected to the merchant's site where they sign up or give their data to the merchant. The client validates these leads to make sure they are not fraudulent.

This is an ideal payment model for advertisers who don't necessarily complete transactions online but use the internet to build their customer base. The form could request information, contact details, subscription to a newsletter etc.

CPS: Cost per sale. The merchant pays commission to the affiliate every time a user on their site clicks on an ad and is redirected to the merchant's site where they complete a purchase. The advertiser can choose to pay out a fixed fee per order, or a % of the value of the sale.

This is the ideal model for advertisers whose customers complete their purchase online.

The only requirement to join an affiliate program is to have an online media space and engaged traffic. This could be a website, a blog, a database, a community on social media, etc. In any case, the advertiser reserves the right to accept or reject your application to join the program without any explanation. In most cases they do not accept publishers who:

  • Show violent, racist, or offensive messages against people, groups, or organisations. Or sites involved in political or religious recruitment.
  • Illegal Drugs, narcotics, or related items.
  • Pornography, nudity, and sexual content
  • Any content which promotes banned activities or infringes on legal rights

In the network you will be able to see a description of each advertiser and the terms and conditions of each programme. You will see the conditions and commission that each advertiser offers. You can choose according to your geographical area, your target audience, the type of campaign, or the commisison paid.

Yes. You can apply to all the programs you wish to. We recommend analyzing each program beforehand to fully understand which ones are most suitable to your site.

Once you are registered and accepted by the merchant, you can log into our network where you can find performance reports in real time.

Once the commissions are approved by the client, you will see them in your account and you can request payment.

You can receive your payment via a bank transfer or via PayPal (for sums below $1000 USD)

All payment requests are made through the Soicos interface and are paid within 60 days of the invoice being received.

Advertisers- increase your sales

Affiliate marketing is an advertising method where an advertiser (or merchant) rewards an affiliate for each click, lead, or sale generated by the users who were referred to the advertiser through the affiliate's marketing efforts.

Socios has a base of over 34,000 affiliates across the globe who are willing to work with brands via affiliate programs. You just need to clarify which types of traffic you would like to work with. We have affiliates who provide display, email marketing, content, coupons, remarketing, native ads, mobile, SEM, etc etc.

Each affiliate must request to join your program. Approval is a manual process. Our affiliate managers will evaluate each request and only approve those who provide the type of traffic the advertiser wishes to work with.

The advertiser must implement a pixel in the page which follows the completion of the action. (The confirmation page for example). This allows us to track the traffic we send to the advertiser's site and identify conversions made through Soicos affiliates.

Soicos will grant you access to our interface where you will be able to see data on impressions, clicks, and conversions. You can also set the program according to Google Tag Manager in order to have control of your own analytics.

Our platform tracks the traffic from each affiliate. When a conversion is made, this appears in our interface assigned to the affiliate who generated it.

At the end of each month you will receive a performance report from Soicos. You will then be able to approve or cancel these conversions. If you would like to receive this more frequently you can request it from your account manager.

The whole tracking and validation process is carried out by our interface, managed by our team here at Soicos, and confirmed by the advertiser.

No. Soicos and our affiliates only receive commission on sales which the advertiser explicitly approves. Not all sales will be invoiced.

Soicos manages the payment process for all affiliates using cheque, bank transfer, or PayPal

Our network is specifically designed to guarantee the cybersecurity of both affiliates and merchants. All programs use a range of security filters to enable their smooth running. Some of the measures include IP restriction so the commissions match the countries allowed by the advertiser, click restrictions (one click allowed from a certain IP in a fixed timeframe), and checks on the click URL.

This enables us to guarantee transparent campaigns and a higher rate of validated commissions.
